It's a Thomas electric and 8,000lbs introduced in the 1970's. The electric motors aren't series wound so run at a constant speed, they are also quite slow.
the worm drive and clutch are the same parts as the PTO variant but the drum is shorter to allow space for the assembly to fit between the dumb irons of the FJ4* series Land Cruisers and series Land Rovers.
On the depicted vehicle it has to be mounted forward of the bar because of the modified design of the Perentie dumb irons. While you can see the shaft protruding, that is there for the hand crank mode.
