Test fitting the Map and blackout panels. There nothing missing from the map panel its just been striped down ready for sanding and painting.

New switch for Aux and main battery arrived today. Here my Map panel switch layout. All the main switches are still in their original location. Next to the aux & main Batt switch is the operation light (it was one three switches that came off this map panel so I’m re using an ex army switch) they are common to Survey, FFR or any landy that needed one, they are Red (combat / blackout condition) and White (normal condition). This also show you what I do with Pre drilled army switch holes: one rivet with 2 washer just like the army would have done it. Got some new labels but need to make some as well.

This how it should look and I will use the front panel on mine as templete to a make new one (the map panel is made up of 2 section riveted togther).. As I don't like the postion of the light switch and aux and main batt switch.

How my map light panel will look when done. It needs painting too. The new section is steel as I didnt have the right aluminium to match the original bend (which I used from the original map panel, just couldnt use the front piece as the army put to many switch hole in it). Also these are not labels just drawn on with computer to show where they go. I do have the new labels here just got to paint it first. The map light switch and interior light switch are from the orignal map panel and are hella.
