The AWA will be more correct for age but most of them were only 25 watt while the Codan were 100 watt.  Blue was the standard colour for the AWA sets.

The frequencies in the set all seem to be marine, best I can determine from the photo.

1 upper 2044 DoD worldwide ? RAN
1 lower 2069 DoD Australian waters
2 upper 2201 various local marine transmitters
3 upper 2524 Local VCG Marine Rescue Aust wide
4 upper 4134 NSW Water Police / VCG Qld
4 lower 4426 NSW Police middle head/ VCG Qld
5 upper 6125 marine rescue inc AMSA
6 upper 4125 marine rescue inc AMSA
7 emergency 2182 inc AMSA

Not sure, could have been for attaching water bags, lights or antennas.  Post or during army life.  My old series 3 FFR had some odd holes on one side of the top of the brush bar as well.
