Hello MC
Have just found another. S3 i think with 30 cal. pintle mount above crew area.
will now go through all my pics and see what i have got. Plenty of Armoured pics too. 1Arm C sqn. 2 CAV Tilleys  M113 with Scorpion turret these were nicknamed beast.
Time to fire up scanner

Sorry for coming back to this thread years later but was wondering if the nickname only applied to the M113A1-MRV with eht Scorpion turret.  This M113A1-FSV (134-702) is called beast BOTHERED a name it acquired in SVN.

Here is it also in SVN without the BOTHERED,

Was it only the MRV called beasts or could it have been both the FSV and later MRV with the term sticking from the earlier variant?

AFÄIK the term"beast was carried over from the Saladin turreted FSV  :)
