After seeming to take forever, my Perentie (called Angus) has finally arrived at its new home.
Found a charged and checked fire extinguisher on board and wheel chocks, brace and tyre winch lever but no jack in the side locker. I wasn't able to open the lockers when I checked it in Queensland, so this was something of a surprise at the contents.
Runs like a dream and the only oil "leak" I can see is some seepage from the rear diff filler plug, and some overflow down the side of the engine under the oil filler.
Canvas looks worse than I thought, but some patching and some bleach on the mould will get it sorted in the short term.
Will do more checking over the next week or two.
I can't believe how simple it is under the bonnet compared to my diesel Wrangler! That's why the Wrangler is going to go!!!!!
