Cliffy

I know that you want genuine, but its been a long time waiting.  I could be convinced to get a sheet metal worker to replicate the rear of my buggy. Even if its just the steel bits. A friend had a new tub made for a Sankey trailer by a bloke in Glenorie (Sydney) and it was an excellent job.  Happy to take the buggy over there for you.

Cookey even has a very straight civvy DBG 88" tub to use as a donor for the cut down. Or I could make templates for you to cut back your current rear tub, that way the shipping would only be parcel post of the steel bits.

The other option is Simon Allen in ?Wangaratta who currently makes the replica Command Car bodies to fit on Dodge Weapons carrier chassis.  He is even exporting them now, all he needs is a buggy to copy.  Scott FFRman may offer his to as a template.

Hi Dianna,
I really appreciate the offer and contacts but...
I can make one over here but as my GB is on the "long term" resto schedule and I know there are some tubs languishing in yards just itching to be re-united with a real GB I'll keep trying to secure.
If in the future  when I come to the time where I need it, and one hasn't surfaced, my mates have been pre warned they will be pressed into service.
At the moment I am stripping and making a list of what needs to be replaced.
I appreciate allot your guys assistance and I will help with your restos where I can.
I have the luxury of having access to the GB at the army museum for dimensions ( although at the mo it's in a tight spot).
That has the 106 on it too which I may "try" and replicate.
