Gday mate, would appreciate if you could update my vehicle status. I have sold my SER 3  ARN 30 222 to a bloke who promises to look after it, he is a business man who likes military Landrovers. I have recently purchased a perentie from Minto it is a GS with winch ARN 230059. I still have my NO 5 trailer154-772. Thanks for your work in keeping things up to date .Regards Johno member 321

removed 30-222 but dont seem to have 230-059 in the database, but obviously it's in your shed!

Hello Scott,

Its RRN 230059 ex RAAF.

RAAF Registration Number = RRN.
Army Registration number = ARN
Defence Registration Number = DRN

The Ronnie Raafies are still using the same Commonwealth registration number block they were provided in early 1942 by the Department of the Interior! (200000 +......).  'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'

Army 'moved on' in the early 1970s to the 5-digit series, which then progressed to the 6 digit 200000 + numbers, thereby 'reusing' numbers previously issued to RAAF vehicles.

Thanks Mike, for a bloke that lives somewhere in Smalltown USA you are well informed on the Aussie military. Possible CIA background. Appreciate your explanation. Johno.

Should I fill out a different registration form for each vehicle/ trailer or just put them all on one?
