Crazy canvas day
« on: June 21, 2012, 06:18:23 PM »
Help, can't seem to sort out how the rear part of the tub canvas fits together, in the corner of the rear section where the bottom half is, it's a mess.

Perhaps instructions to fit workshop canvas would be helpful.
Anyone got any?

Hey Juddy,
I presume your talking about the rear flap, there will always be a gap on either side, that canvas needs to sit in the warm sun for a couple of days to stretch and become workable to.

Yes the rear gap, got home showed the wife the pictures, and she thinks she knows how to sort it, its the section that gets rolled up above the canvas thats on the body.. cant work out how it folds without looking silly

Do you have the rear slide out extension on the bows?, if so slide them out with the canvas until the canvas is at full extension, then push the slide out section back in with the canvas, it will concertina the canvas as it go's which will give a good result, the canvas will hang down in a bundle inside the workshop, it is always hard to get them exact as you will see in service pics!.
