Defender/Perentie ignition and door locks
« on: February 25, 2014, 11:40:52 PM »
Bought these in anticipation of securing a Survey Hardtop, which I didn't win at auction. :(

For sale is a brand new lock set and ignition switch for a Defender/Perentie. The Ignition lock also secures the steering column, and has the same wiring arrangement as the standard switch, so it's a simple job to swap the wiring over. The three door lock barrels (3, yeah Survey H/top remember? But you can just use 2 if you want!) are all keyed alike to the Ign Switch, so you only need one key. Comes with lower clamp for Ign Switch and shear-off bolts.

Price $85 posted within Aust, or $75 pick-up at Corowa.

I presume you meant it works on the defender and 110 (perentie), remembering that the perentie is a 110 and not a defender ?

I meant that they are Defender parts, and will also retrofit on to a Perentie (or OneTen). I did not think the steering column lock was ever part of the OneTen Ign Switch?

As far I know the Survey 110 already has keyed ignition and locks to all doors.

Some do, but some don't. The particular one I was after didn't, and I'd inspected most through Minto.
