Agree there are different types of pintle hooks but their hole spacing are all the same.

I was referring to the stand off bracket/plate which are different between 2A and S3,

If you line them up like Greg says you'll soon see if it lines up.

Cheers
Lots...............

Still working on this one, doesn't time fly.......

About to re-manufacture the seats.
Bases water damaged. Middle seat uses masonite, outers plywood. Steel frame is bent, partly because there is little strength in the 4mm plywood/masonite.
I'm using thicker marine ply (6mm), the frames for bases will be straightened & re-painted. Haven't started on the backs yet.
Vinyl sourced but couldn't match the colour exactly, also got some 6mm foam to pad the ribs.

Seat bases for the two rear seats missing so have to get some foam cut for those.

Walking foot industrial sewing machine at the ready, just need to unpick an outer and centre seat base & backs then make either templates or just get some accurate measurements.

Car runs & drives, brakes overhauled, some painting to complete then need to get the repaired canopy out of the loft and re-fit.

No rush.....

Great to have you back Colin.

Too many of the old-hands seemed to have lost interest over the years and gone somewhere else,

Charlie,

The younger generation seem fascinated by Facebook. Personally I spend time on AULRO and had forgotten about REMLR, I was also regularly on the LR Classic Campers forum in the UK (because of the Dormobile) but haven't been on there much either.

One of my boys now has a Disco 1 and he lets me know if anything interesting comes up on Facebook.....

The FFR is just about finished. I should be able to make Corowa next week.
Trailering to a mates place then a short drive to Corowa on Saturday morning for the parade.

Hi Chazza,
It's taken far longer than I expected, details are on the AULRO forum. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/leaf-sprung-military-land-rovers/118730-ffr-refurb.html
I've been promising to get to Corowa in one of my vehicles for years, instead I've been attending in my daily driver to check out the swap meet.

Next the IIaGS, maybe Corowa 2026 ? Then I need to get back to work on the Dormobile.

FFR ran well, 28K each way from a mates place.

I appear at 12minutes, a mate is behind in a 101.
