The Horndraulic 3 Ton trailer is a commercial unit, developed in the early 1970s to replace the 1 Ton "Humber" trailers for carrying stores and ammunition "
within mainland installations and on highways". In the U.K. the Horndraulic company make tractors and agricultural equipment. The Australian Army versions were built by Horndraulic (Aust) in Moorabbin Victoria
My trailer was purchased off an orchardist near Eskdale on the Mitta Mitta River Victoria. Unfortunately it came without dropsides, tailgate nor posts.

Don't you just hate people who use sand paper on ID plates!

The original plan for recovery of the trailer was to go to the vendors property and make sure the lights and wiring worked and then it would be picked up by another mil enthusiast by truck. Unfortunately those plans didn't work out and the D4 became the truck, taking the trailer back to the farm.

The next 18 months were spent trying to acquire a spare and with the help of Steven Davis REMLR and MLU, I currently have 5 spares and a axle.
