24 v Generator

Does anyone know the location of the voltage adjuster in the rear of the 24v Generator on an FFR, I wish to switch to /dial down to 12 v

It's a 28V alternator and not variable.  You would have to use an inverter or DC-DC transformer.

For the size and weight of the CAV unit, if you really want a 12V dual system, I'd be tempted to remove the  heavy lump of metal and replace it with a 100AMP or 120AMP 12V Bosch unit that are available everywhere.
