I have to ask the question !
Is it just a Body shell without running gear?
It does not seem to be sitting low enough in the front where all the weight would be!

I thought it looked about right for  shorty gearbox and tf case in the middle so only a bit of weight over the front  ;) But you would have to wrap it before you put it in the water so you need 8 strong blokes or girls to lift it ;D

After you wrap it you have to lift it into the water as well.
Need more pics to convince me
It looks like it is sitting at bumper height at the front
You could lay out the tarp on a car trailer, drive on wrap it and then launch it by backing or lowering the trailer till it floats.
recovery could be a problem.

I know a fellow who did that with a Moke.
Recovery is a doddle. Just beach it, drop the canvas and drive off.

Blokes, blokes.   Get a grip.
As in everything Army.  There is a system to this.

1.   Get a good tarp with no holes.
2.   get about six blokes to wade into the water holding the tarp up in the air and not letting
water in.
3.   Drive the vehicle onto the tarp which is being held deep enough to provide a little bouyancy
if your'e lucky.
4.  Wrap the vehicle with the tarp and ropes.
5.  Get your mates to drag into deeper water which hopefully won't be too far.
6.  Start paddling.
7.  Egress the other side after your helper buddies have swum across.

Easily done.  Also demonstrated a few years ago at the Bundy Swim in using a Jeep.

As the man said.

That is Jeff Gordon's jeep and he drove it in and drove it out again.
