Now I know all the current Army gear being sold currently has the pintle hooks unlocked and rotating.
I also understand why this is done - to prevent both vehicle and trailer rolling if things get a bit messy.
If rotating pintles are such a safety item, could someone please explain to me why it is almost impossible to buy a rotating hook, and everything I can find is fixed and bolted to the chassis or Hayman Reece receiver?

??
I currently have a workshop trailer with a rotating ring (never got the army mod to stop it rotating), but I'm towing it with a fixed, non rotating pintle hook.
Anyone have any ideas on why this is so??
