Hi Juddy,
Love the pics but have one suggestion with storage of the jack.
The best way is to leave the hydraulic part down and unscrew the top portion up until it is almost at the top but not all the way, just in case the jack rises slightly. If the hydraulic shaft is up it can be very hard to remove, I found this out the hard way a few years ago  :-[
Have you been able to find a base plate for the jack?

I do have a base plate, but i think its a 6x6 one, the 6x6 jack was 5T rated. so maybe different?

Drive it back Cliffy...... I drove mine back from Brisbane to Perth back in February.

It was a great trip. Didn't miss a beat.

Wanted to but just not economically viable right now.
I soooooo wanted to but no rego (blue slip) so on a truck it goes.
We should have a Perentie day somewhere in Perth!

I have put on a rhino rack with canoe holder. Welded up and fitted my "custom" reece hitch. Spent about 10 days around Bridgetown. Towed my cub camper trailer about 1500km. With camper on I am finding hills interesting - might be turbo time. Paul.

I brought a can of bees wax heated it and with a paint brush painted it over the cover it ade it water proof
