Could this be the mysterious white Land Rover? It has no side windows as per the photos in posts #1 & 8. Photograph was taken on board HMAS Sydney. Vehicle heading back to Australia (1972).



Did anyone notice the white tray interior on what appears to be an otherwise olive drab topless vehicle near the white landy (maybe its albino)

is that a seat inside the tray?? would that be an FFR or similar painted white inside to improve visability inside??

I think it is a white tub on the inside. They left the hoops on it... what is it?

Also, these civvy LR are those seen in Mud n Dust, the photos are via AWM;
