You see the wonders on the web, I interrupted that as you were trying to say you could maybe get them cheaper, which I take as a dig at me, especially as I am the one doing all the work here.  I hate it when people contact me and say can you get me a ex army land rover or a radio set, I do all the hard work sourcing these items, sometimes there not east to get hold of, and then the tyre kickers walk away.  Price's change all the time both for parts and postage something that was $100 a year ago may well now be alot more expensive.

So I was being sarcastic ( but not in a nasty way ) so no harm intended to you.

Any way the update so far both companies I have spoken to are out of stock, Dropzone had a box of 50, lasted 4 years he said, he is looking for more, and is hope full some will turn up soon. I have a few more contacts to ask.. so please be patient I am on the case, Again I am not chasing people, send me your details if you are Interested and I will contact you once we have stock...

Cheers

Justin

I bought a group buy from Marcus Glenn for REMLR people. About 24 plates.

Sorry to say that the supply has dried up and some people have been left behind. If I can get 40 Orders I will consider making a small batch. That is 80 plates.  They would be $20 each plus postage.

I am going to Beltring in 2014. Might find some then. Otherwise you will have to use a pie can, bucket lid til then.

Otherwise keep trawling ebay.co.uk.

Ian

Many and various pieces of tin with wheels.

I got a sample metal spun some time ago and posted on the AULRO forum (cant find the thread now). Production fell through because someone ordered them in from the UK

The Metal Spinners used an MDF former for the one-off and it came out OK. For producing multiples they need to make two formers in aluminium so it was a bit more expensive but repeat orders would be cheaper. They would be supplied without holes & unpainted.

I can post pictures if anyone is interested but it would need a fair bit of interest for them to re-visit it again.
