RAAF Amberley Fire Dump ACCO

These two photos show an International at the Amberley fire dump. The date is unknown but it may be mid to late 80's.

Although the Inter is close to the fire, I think it was used to tow the 'sacrificial' tanker trailer to the dump. With all that heat, I suspect the truck would be a little worse for wear after this exercise. Note the dual wheels to the rear. Not sure if the Inter is 4x4 with a dolly setup for the trailer or it's a 6x6 with modified rear wheels. Probably the former.

There is too much space between the front axle and the second axle for it to be a 6X6.
