Normal series 2 GS but it has a 2A military rear cross member, also has the bonnet latches that weren't on the series 2... should be green under the red

Series 2 LWB did actually have the bonnet hooks, although I believe they were positioned further back on the bonnet.  Very few S2 (Vs 2a) LWB vehicles still seem to exist, so it would be reasonably rare today at best!

Not much other specific info on that vehicle, but it looks pretty complete.

Hello All,

The 109 series 2 Army LR's had the raised chassis basically the same as the later 2A, they also had the Army rear cross member, which would be correct for this s2,
 
the Army swb s2 CR had the different chassis(They had the civvy type) to the Army s2A swb, which has the Army rear cross member, raised suspension stations etc.

Some of the very early series 2 109's may have had the civvy rear cross member, but it would not be to many, mainly trials vehicles etc.

Nice find Jye.

Although the ARN details show it as a GS, it has no tool holders on guards. Maybe they have been removed. Tub rear panels have holes for TAC plate holders.

You would expect to see some plates looking like these if it was a genuine ex military fire tender.
