Make sure to ring around, I had wildly varied quotes.

Hi All,

FYI
I sent off a request to Michelin about some 7.50x16 XZL's to replace my Dunlop Super Grippers on the Series 3. Their reply is below.

Thanks for your query, in relation to your query the size 7.50R16C XZL 116N. RRP is $326.36 + gst per tyre only, this price however, is only a guide as Michelin Australia cannot dictate the price at which authorised Michelin dealers sell our tyres to consumers. You will need to contact your local Michelin Dealer for fitment and a quote. Please see dealer locator: http://www.michelin.com.au/index.html Kind Regards, Michelin Australia.

So off to my local dealer Tyrepower,
Tim

I have arranged for 4 new Michelin XZL tyres at $235 each fitted. Apparently Michelin are trying to unload some of these at the moment, he double checked the price. This is obviously a substantial saving and was from the first store I went to. Price may be affected by Michelin Aust HQ being in Melbourne, 30km from away.

Gday, I have a mate who has 4 or 5 12.00 20 Nato tyres (Dunlop PC50) for sale.
What are they worth?
The one i saw is brand new.
Thanks.

They are the NATO pattern.
Post up a photo. They could be worth a few hundred or, if they're like the bar grips I picked up a couple of years ago, they're worthless.

DUNLOP ROAD GRIPPER S - 7.50R16 - $245

They will cost me $220.50 each minus GST and the price includes fitting. Going in Friday to get 4

It pays to check to see if they have stock of (new) secondhand tyres of this make. I bought some from their Lavington store after the then Parks Vic came in with 50 Troopies to have MTRs fitted on Sunrasia wheels. Got 'em for $150 a corner and they would've fitted 'em free if I had the wheels  ;D
