Hi Juddy
Just had a friend ring up and he has got a heap of parts including seat bases to give to me. Are you after 109 or 88 bases don't think they are different but 109 has adjustable base.

109 drives side are different to 88, non of the new ones reflect this, they are all the same I believe.
109. Station wAgons were also different.
I require 109.

I think these are from a 109. When i pick them up I will message you. I would not know transport costs. I sent a Thomas pto for winch to Sydney, it cost $47. Will do a costing from the ones i have from 113 990.
Just did a rough costing it is about $170, not worth it.

Can take to Wodonga Thursday or Sunday.

I know where there is a quantity of BRAND NEW OLD STOCK Seat bases (apart from those in my shed ;oP).

Do you still need them? I was thinking of buying the lot off the guy before they are gone.

P.S.  Any one has good backs and needs bases I will do a direct swap!

Keep you posted how we go.

I'm also after some seats for my FFR and like you have acquired an industrial sewing machine (a 1922 Singer). Next job is to find a supplier of the correct looking material.
I've found a supplier of automotive vinyl but the colours are limited. There is a nice green which is a Transport Seating vinyl (bus, train & tram). I'll get a sample and see how expensive it is.
My FFR seats are ribbed across the face and I'm not sure of the material but it doesn't look like vinyl.
