coolant
« on: January 05, 2024, 09:24:11 PM »
Hi Everyone,

First post here. I got an '89 FFR late last year, and working through getting it running as it should. Has been a bit of a saga, with a chip coming off the side of a valve and partying in cylinder within a few months of taking delivery  ::)

I've just had an ex-army reco'd motor fitted, and am wondering what coolant to use?

Cheers,
           Andrew

i usePENRITE COOLANT its green, they say its good for 8years. Read the instructions you must mix it 50% with demineralised or distilled water. Landrover have approved it. Take your time filling it through the small filler hole top of the thermostat. Check the level half a dozen times. let it stand for 20 minutes check again and then after running engine. JohnO
