GS or FFR

Hi Folks,

I'm after a GS or FFR (preferably GS) and preferably in WA.
Budget constraints limit me to about $13000. Living remote makes inspections hard so if any members know of something
out there I'm all ears.

Don't forget all asking prices are "ambit claims" and usually there is room for negotiation.

Since you are located in a remote area is it possible to have someone look at and drive a particular vehicle - some mechanical businesses will do this for a fee, others may be prepared to make a recommendation - I could in NSW but that is probably a bit far in regard to your transport costs.

Thanks mate, yep had a look at them and contacted most.
There's a clean one in Sydney that comes with a trailer that has promise and the guy has sent me a heap of extra pics.
Not interested in the trailer really though its a bonus I suppose.

Just chasing transport costs vs flying over and driving back.

Is there not an FFR in Rockingham for 12K?
I know he will not drop his price.

There was one of the Pertenite Facebook page for $8k today.
Dunno what state though.
The FFR on GT owner is curt to sat the least. I was chatting with his partner about it and when we got to price he snatched the mobile off her and said “It’s $12K that it. If you want a cheaper one try over East” and hung up on me. So....I don’t think he’ll take an offer but that was 2 months ago now!
The GS that was for sale for ages would have been a good buy.

Hello madtuna,

Any luck as yet,?  I have both, a GS and a FFR but located in Brisbane.
You are probably right about road freight its likely to be expensive, from the East to the West coast..

Anyway $12,000 each (firm) for either the GS or the FFR.    The GS is my current drive vehicle,
the FFR has a winch but needs a few dollars spent on it to pass a RWC.
