Upper storage shelf
« on: April 22, 2016, 04:40:33 PM »
As we know - there is increased headroom in the rear of the RFSV which is unused.

I thought a strong shelf which is mounted on the canopy frame (using 8mm bolts used instead of the 6mm fixings) could work for extra storage of coats etc.

ROPS is untouched except for the canopy tabs - all easily reversed if it doesn't work out.

Yes Pete, thanks, ....obviously some restraint required for the uphills and the sudden acceleration of the 4BD1  :)

I should have added - 5mm alloy brackets and 17mm formply material

Very nicely put together. A good place to stash bulky soft items like bedding and the ech bag of clothes as you say.

Going camping soon?
