12 volts inverted from what ?? (24volt vehicle system perhaps?)
Maybe more info from the seller re markings or numbers etc.
Ooooorr, is it actually a 12 volt Power supply Unit for giving the correct voltage supply to
(for example) a No. 19 Wireless set (WS19)
The plugs shown are certainly from that era of radios.
WW2 up to Korea (early fifties) Used in Armoured vehicles and Wheeled vehicles.
British, Canadian AND Australian.
This item would most likely have been used in wheeled vehicles having a 12volt supply as
the WS19 (and others) could also be supplied as 24volt for Armoured and larger vehicles.
The attached file shows a very similiar arrangement with a British WS19.
