Title: C-Line Truck Plenum Joint

Hello All,

Does anyone own a truck like this one that saw service in the military? It is being advertised as a 1970 International C-1500 Ex Military Truck. Could you please check some of the positions for joints in the Plenum for me?

I have a similar truck cabin on my van that has extensive rust in the lower plenum/cowl. Parts have rusted away to the extent that I do not know how far they originally extended and where the parts were fixed to the A pillar. 

I have attached a photo of my truck's cabin where I have circled in red a horizontal plate  and extended where I think the plate might have ended in blue lines. Is this guess correct or did the plate extend right across the A pillar? I would greatly appreciate your help because the parts this area of plenum joins to is are also rusted out. I am working in the dark.

I have no relationship to the seller - however if any one is after a project visit Facebook's Rusty Wrecks- Old (Pre '84) Cars,Trucks and Motorbikes Buy Swap and Sell It is in South Australia so it is luckily too far away from me.

I well remember the C1500 s the army had ....in common with the 4 ton Dodges ,they were very fast trucks ,and often "clocked" by the MPs doing 70mph......Any IH parked out under the trees is going to have severe rust in the plenum area.....add that to the common repair of filling the whole area with newspaper and bogging the shape back .......Ive also seen absolute new looking cabs with just the area directly under the grille rusted thru and leaking water onto the cab floor.
