Title: Battery charge gauge
Post by: Marlin on September 12, 2016, 07:45:45 PM
The Perentie battery charge gauge (Volt meter) located in the cluster next to the temp gauge, stopped working the other day. The problem I found was the small Perspex cover over the needle has vibrated loose and is interfering with the needle movement.

I therefore need to remove and dismantle the gauge in order to reattach the Perspex, as it seats from inside the gauge. Has anyone else had this problem? and how did you go about re fixing the Perspex? Is it an involved job to remove and dismantle the gauge from the cluster. Any help or photos would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Probably easier to buy a new gauge, they are standard VDO.
