Took some photos today of a 51 FNQR RFSV that has done 100km. It was on display at the opening of the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum.

Pretty stunning - great range of vehicles and artillery, well laid out, promise of another 20 armour to come. Took stacks of photos but probably too much to post here. My only concern is that he gets enough tourists to cover costs, let alone make a profit.

If armour and artillery are your thing then this should be the deciding factor on where to spend your next holiday.

Sure thing. I took a photo of every armoured vehicle so will send that. Is there a limit to the size of attachments sent to that email address?

I don't think so, but 10mb per email is usually fairly safe

Will be interesting to see how they stand up in long term durability and reliability :-\

I can only imagine how expensive parts and repairs would be! As the G wagon is full of electronics.. :-\

Great shots. I work in Mulgrave so I've seen all sorts of variants of these things going by and I must admit they are growing on me. I guess time will tell how they fare but it is a reasonably tried and tested platform. Visibility doesn't look great from the back seat though.
