nothing on the fire tenders can be standard as there is not enough info on them to specify wat was
what .my fire tender is completely different to waynes in many aspects mainly the body.
being that the lucas  was mainly used by the military for the majority of there light products
its likely that they are mean to have lucas equipment but have been modified "in field "

G'day Folks  :)

A lot of the auxiliary equiptment fitted to Aust military vehicles was supplied by tender, which was renewed from time to time, so it depended on who won the tender as to whom supplied the equiptment, also the manufacturers varied/changed their products over the years,Hella beacons being  a case in point, some early ones will be very different to later units, as will "Hella Australia" differ from "Hella Germany" as source of product.

This was also governed by the particular person/persons inside the directorate, and price and availabity of the product, also the particular requirements of the Area of Operations and Command at the time.

Hope that is of help  :)

cheers

Here it is, pretty sure this is your fire tender, will have to find Dads old books to confirm it, this was bought by Warwick Lord from Moorebank auctions and sold for him by my Dad, Hilton, it was sold to a bush fire brigade in Sydney i think, will confirm this to.

Had to cut the pic about but not to bad.
