Title: Number hunting for my s1 80inch

Hi ppl, looking for info on my S1?
Not sure on where to search the number on the firewall, number on the tag on the inside is 123700793.
Any help defining the exact year and service it was used in is much appreciated, cheers

While I am sure there are people on here who might be able to provide information, as your vehicle is not ex Aust Military, unless it was one of the three test vehicles (and this is a military forum) resources will be limited.

The number 123700793, makes your Land Rover a 1957 109" petrol engined CKD right hand drive version. And it is the 793 one built in that form.

Pictures of front & rear would be great.... just to see if it was an ex-Government Woomera S1. Some of these had ex-military features such as tac plate holders.
