I would have put this in a tyre section but we don't seem to have one ( or cant see? )
Will I need to use tubes in my tubeless XZL's that I am fitting to my series rims?
Cheers

Hi Justin,
Best practice is to fit tubes. However, some tubeless tyres are pretty daggy inside and may rub holes in tubes - would not expect that with Michelins though.
The series rims do not have the safety bead but there were people who fitted radials back in the late sixties/seventies when they came out and swear they never had a problem even using them tubeless.
Also it might have insurance implications if tubeless tyres are fitted today. Are there any suitable looking tubless type rims that you could use as substitutes and may not be noticed other than 110/130s that you could source from UK?

Thanks Bob.
Come to think of it yes, the land Rover One Ton Rim, as fitted to Military Land Rovers, and 130/110 HCPU versions up until the wolf rim replaced them.
There cheap i the UK, in fact I had 2 I left over there, but I would take the older 130 type rim if anyones got 2/3?
