These are at Pickles Thurgoona to be auctioned probably in April, together with what appeared to be a White Scout Car.

That white beast is a Leyland Scammel Contractor. That would be a fun old girl to play with.

Ive heard they have already sold a couple of ACCOs through the auctions .

I think that the Navy steam club used that Scammel to cart their steam truck to shows. As it is some time since we had a steam powered warship I guess that the club is out of business.
A White scout car used to live at Holsworthy many years ago which was used on ceremonial occasions.

2 Cav had a white and 2 ferrets for ceremonial work in the early 80,s at Holsworthy :)

Yes I saw the White at an open day at Holsworthy probably some time in the 80s. I suspect the last one that they ever did before things started to tighten up security wise.
