Hi all,
I have often looked in on the REMLR website and forum, thought it time to join in. My connection with Land Rovers starts back in the early Seventies when I started a new job in a REME Workshops in England. Over the 22 years there, I got to work on all kinds of military Land Rovers, rebuilt heaps of 2 1/4 petrol engines and gearboxes .......... and a few interesting projects which I will save for later.
A few of you may have met me before, I was invited on to the KVE Committee early last year and am also the editor of KVE News with all the latest information on the Corowa Swim-In.
regards, Richard

Thanks for the welcome. ;)
Well to answer a couple of questions, yes I do get on MLU forum occasionally!
As for my link with Corowa, well that goes back about 18 years, when I met some guys over in Europe and was able to join the Back To The Track event from Sydney to Darwin. Along the way I met up with many fellow collectors and enthusiasts, who are now good friends and a fair number of them have come over to England and France for events over there. My first Corowa was in 1996.
I did often co-drive a Land Rover 2a down from Sydney to Corowa with a late friend, but not having one of my vehicles with me is no bother. Makes a change as I work on MV's all the time ...for the last 38 years.
With the internet, the World is now a much smaller place!
