22 is 2/3 FER. However, in 1991 2/3 FER was broken up into 1st, 2nd and 3rd combat engineer regiments.
All Unimogs and Macks are withdrawn, in the way for MAN 4x4 and 8x8 w/SALHS (Supashock Automated Load Handling System)
Except many old wreckers are still using.

i believed it was a wksp tac sign

I forgot to mention. 2/3 FER did have a workshop unit, known as 2/3 FER wksp.
If the serial number unchanged, 2 CER could have same serial number even the 2/3 FER broken up.

There are two Hino fleets currently use by ADF, 'white fleet' Hino cargo truck and 'Green' Hino TFFR.

Could have been a fire truck. They have a lot of toolboxes. Even the hose reels are covered

Here a photo of Hino Truck Fire Fighting Rural.
