Monday i sold my 1958 109 inch series one..
making room for Miss Olive oil , she's a 1961 series 2 ex military workshop beast.. ( ARN 112-164 ) she still has a 2.25 petrol in her , sadly not the original . but she is what she is , beautiful . :) she need a few little things fixed and then we'll try and get her registered .

Nice Matty ,

Very nice workshop !
Cheers.

Gday Matty I owned olive oil before the previous owner and restored her almost how you have her now, if you have any questions about her don't hesitate to ask. Regards Tony. Aka Series workshop.
-
Cheers for that Tony. Aka Series workshop.
She is coming along nicely , she is not putting up to much of a fight .. so far drivers rear wheel cylinder replaced , new brake line made for that side also , super sloppy gear stick fixed , i got to go for a lap or 2 around the block at the mechanic's the other day ( on a trade plate ) found a few more issues . She now engages 4wd . She has 2 small holes in passenger foot well , need to get that assessed to see if we patch that or buy replacement panel . a couple of other small things and then we will try an inspection and get her regoed again..
Regards
Matt

Awesome , thank you Mick
How do i find out what the Divisional / Formation tac sign should be ?
The bridge weight plate , yellow disc with a 3 , is that correct and what does the 3 signify..
again , than you , thank you , thank you :)
Regards
Matt

Hi Matt,
I think the formation sign is the field force command kangaroo and cross swords with crown on a red back ground. Happy to be corrected as not 100% certain.
The 3 on the yellow disc is the bridge weight classification.
Hot Rod can supply the Field Force Command decals if your chasing some?
Cheers,
Mick

Hello Matty,
I have to make a couple of workshop cab canopies and haven't made any for years. Don't remember how the back flap fitted over the bow. Any chance of a picture of yours? Is that an original ? Does it have the connecting piece with the straps to the back section?
Regards, RR.

Restless : i believe i may be already be communicating with you via email . I am Matthew Beaumont.
regarding mine , it is not original, neither is the one covering the rear ... I do believe i may have the original and will send you the pic's i have via email.
Tony. Aka Series workshop would probably be able to shed some light on what the one is on mine that is currently on it as i am pretty sure he was the one who put it on .

The motor in OLIVE0 was originally in member MUDDY's aka ( maurice's ) ambulance 113-900 .

Matthew

hi Matt
there wasn't a plate on the inside of the fire wall it may be on the passengers side glove area (haven't got easy access at present )
