Title: Help please - I am stumped! Removing gearbox cover.
Post by: Notlongnow on April 24, 2018, 04:01:45 PM
I am trying to remove the gearbox cover on a 6x6 Bushranger model. Is there any way of doing this without chopping 648 pretty coloured wires from the fuse box assembly? I have removed the PTO lever and cable, and un-mounted the handbrake lever but still no luck. The fuse block gets in the way. I don't usually get beaten, but this has me stumped.
Thanks,
Paul

It's a brute force problem. The cover bends quite a bit. Angle the back up and bend the passengers side rear over the seat box.

Or at least that's how I've done it in the past.

Unbolt the fuse box and move it up as well.
