Title: Dash lights and horn
Post by: Rob6x6 on December 24, 2017, 07:45:19 AM
G'day all,  I am having a problem with the dash lights and horn not working on my 6x6 perentie.  I assume that they are on the same circuit. I have checked all fuses and they are ok. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem or where would be a good place to start looking for the fault.
Cheers Rob

Hi Tona, Merry Christmas to you. I just ask my father about your indicators problem. He said your indicators are worn and it need to remove and replace or repair it.

Kind regards,

Hi Rob, they are seperate circuits. I never have similar problem. I suspect you should go check earth point (possibly lose contact with earth), wiring (see any cut or fray, check connectors if there any lose or broken) and load (dash lights and horn). Also I attach wiring diagrams, it may help you to track down wiring. Merry Christmas.

Kind regards,
Perentiewrecker

Thanks perentie wrecker,
I will do a little digging around and see what I can find. It did seem strange that they both stopped working at the same time.  Thanks for the wiring diagrams I will try to get my head around it.
Cheers Rob
