Title: 101 tailgate hinge Mark, I finally found one and got around to drawing it.

Mark, I finally found one and got around to drawing it.


I measured it with a plastic ruler.
I'll run a vernier over it to confirm the dimensions.

sorry, using facebook to ping 101 owners to find out the parts needed to refit a tailgate to my 101, it arrived in aus with a barn door akin to a railway coach door but a roof structure completely rotted out. I have refitted the hood bows and canvas to take it back to its original configuration, missing were the hinge brackets that secure the tailgate to the tub section.

Hood bows, hey? Where did you get them?

I'm after one piece. The straight bit in the middle between the hoops.

most of them came with the truck when I bought it, I only received 1 of the diagonal braces, a pattern for the remaining 3, the centre rails are missing but Im making them from electrical conduit, will supply dimensions once Ive finished.

AJ has hood bows - or at least did as I got one from him.  I never had the rod that runs down the centre and just used some thing walled tube from MetalMart - make sure you use bolts with the correct heads so they do not wear the canvas top.

So, Mark, did you get the hinges made up and did they work?
