Hi Tona, if your headlight wiring is routed through the bulkhead/firewall behind (i.e.. cab side of the air filter in the engine bay), the point at which it comes past some sheet metal on that cab side of the air filter the insulation can fray from engine vibration.

You may have to remove the air filter to see what I'm writing about.

If the insulation has worn through at this point retape it and enclose it in some split corrugated plastic tube for protection.

I know this because I had indicator wiring insulation fail at this point.

::)    THANKS DUGITE ,I will go out and have a look , I will remove the air cleaner and see if i can find the problem there, ITS supposed to get checked out this morning in preparation  for our anzac parades, over here if your vehicle goes in the anzac parade, it must be checked by our vehicle examiners irispective if they are on full rego  or not, just a mil section requirement here in W.A.THE l/rover keeps blowing the fuse on the left side only , globe has been checked, thanks again  will let you know of outcome as soon as i find it,TONA.
