At Corowa, Bruce had a couple of reconditioned alternators for sale.
For illustration purposes I thought I would photograph mine before installation.
The photos maybe of use to someone down the track.

They look nice Ross. What sort of money did they cost?

Hi, Rewind Specialist at Seven Hills did them at $220 ea incl. Gst. My paperwork says new inner bearing and testing. Bruce M. brought them from AFM for an unknown amount. No freight as he lives in the area. I paid Bruce $350. I know there are alternative brands that apparently will go in, but this original  was ok to me.

Thanks. That is a good price. I am with you in sticking with the original Hitachi.
