Title: 108-637
Post by: Chazza on March 06, 2017, 04:01:39 PM
Bob Trotter has sold me his fire engine and she has been used to decorate the waste-land we call a garden.

The ARN lists say that there is an archive photo of it in service. Can anyone tell me where I might find this photo?

The plan is to fix the brakes and clutch and get the engine to run and then save for a big shed,

Cheers Charlie

Thanks Wayne,

After I bought it and got it home, a message arrived to say that it is still licenced and would I like to renew it, which I have done  :D

I may seek your help in the future regarding the shape and size of the ladder rack, which is missing, if that is OK with you,

Cheers Charlie

How's the restoration going

No restoration yet unfortunately  :(

I have a kitchen to finish renovating, which is in its 3rd year; so I have to be content that I have saved it from being made into a beach-buggy, or something equally horrible, for the time being.

Can anyone else access the archives for the photo? Phoenix hasn't replied to my PM,

Cheers Charlie

Phoenix has very kindly sent me a photo of when she was younger – I say she, because a friend christened her "Rosie".

Rosie the red Rover sounds good to me.  :D
