Ya hungus.
Surely there should be some available in aus.
-
Have you tried Empire Disposals in Wang?
Mike

2short,
Try John Craddock in the UK, Part number JC740.
I am not sure if it is a reproduction or an original, but looks reasonable in the photo.
Cheers,
Mike.

I'd be paying eight pounds over 18 pounds. Both places sell a repro.
Just saying.

You certainly will not get one made for $14.00 either, a long time ago somebody was going to get a heap made but the cost of the dies to make the items
was way over the top, and as 1 person would have had to outlay that money with not many people wanting them it went by the wayside, my motto is
'if you want/need it, buy it' cheers Dennis
you could be a cheapskate and use what the gunbuggy/No5 trailers have just a flat disc,,.
-
Not going with a flat disc, I'd like the proper version.
I just thought there would have to be some around in aus as we had thousands of vehicles with them.
I have sent an email to Marcus glenn for price.
Oh and Tim V too.
-
Shorty,
My Series 2A Shorty has a flat disc just like the plate on the number 5 trailer.
It looks the part 😊👍
Cheers,
Mick

Shorty - If you are going to order a bridge plate, have you considered a joint venture where we pay for and order extras to keep the freight down so it works out cheaper for all? If so, I'd buy 3 of them. I am sure there are others ....? ???
Let me know your thoughts and feel free to pm if desired,
Cheers

Hi Frank,
In my email to marcusglenn I asked what the cost would be for multiples. I'll post up when I get a reply. Sounds like a good idea.
-
Marcus will quote according to weight.
As Dennis says it costs what it costs, but multiples will always sell. There are plenty of lazy people who don't bother to try outside of Australia.
If you go down the joint venture road make sure people shell out $$$ in advance. That way no asking and then not following through on orders. I had a few of non payers/don't wanters last time I bought Bridge Plates in bulk. I sold those excess orders on eBay in the end.
Cheers,
Ian

Shorty thanks mate, - Let me know how you go . I'm with Ian, :D that's why I was careful in my wording to say "pay for and order"! It's just much easier on all concerned and less stress in the end. Great initiative though! Let me know if any body wants any clansman headsets with microphones, NOS only used by one army in two small conflicts, low mileage, presumed to work? ;D Bought a shipment from the UK with a few spares. Must say though, REMLR people I have had anything to do with are very very good.
