Hello all
just wanting advice on the typical installation of the LS-166/U speaker in an FFR? This is the cube shaped speaker that has the switch for either vehicle or radio use on the side.

Hi Daryl,
They usually were hung by a wire hook on the canopy bow.

okay Mick, this weighs 1.6kg, it'd be a weapon! :o As a last resort something you could throw athe enemy :) It has a 'T' bracket on top. I'll text you a pic ;)

You better hook it on securely then 😊👍

It should have a flat bracket with two holes held on by a wingnut. I have had these used with a u bolt through the holes and secured to the vertical hoop bar. I have also seen (but didn't like) cable ties through the holes and 'secured' to the horizontal hoop spacer.
Cheers,
Pete
