Rear bench seats for landy 109 gs frames even if foam and covering no good.
2x rear bumper jerry holders.
-
SIIa GS didn't have jerry can holders, they had bumperettes, sometimes called cookie cutters.
Only the SIIA FFT had jetty can holders because they had the radios and batteries where the jerry cans were stored in the GS.
I have some SIII jerry can holders, but they will need modification to fit in a SIIA and your tail lamps will obstruct the 20 litre type, if you fit them in the same location as the FFT they will obstruct the opening of your tailgate.
if you look at this image I posted up earlier today you will see what I mean.

Excellent advice thanks. I found a seller of the hoops around newcastle nsw , but lost his contact details. Does anyone know this guy ? Apparently has heaps of landy spares.

Why does that FFT have what appear to be two R210 and no transmitter? Or have I got the radio model wrong?

And what is that tow plate???

Hi Howard
Yes you are correct.
It's probably because the image is a Land-Rover/Pressed Metals Corp promotional graphic of the Fitted For Transmission vehicle and not a Signals Corps photo of the radio installation.
At least that's my take on the image.
