Post by: casahill numptys on July 19, 2012, 11:25:52 AM
Hi,

We have just purchased a modified ACCO 6x6, ADE 2126. Can anyone tell me if this would be an F1? We are also looking for a copy of workshop/service book to suit if anyone can help.

In addition we have the orginal Cabriolet if anyone is in the market for their vehcile? Cheers

We have some manuals in electronic format, which I am working on getting online.

Looking at he chassis number, I see it was on ebay not all that long ago converted to a bus?

Unfortunately we have not got that vehicle on file yet, as I have still to work through adding many vehicles in that chassis range as a work in progress, but if you like, I can put you on the vehicle's information so I know who to tell when we do get to it?  The Registration form should be on the remlr website on the information for members page.

Just wondering if there is any update on a service or parts manual for an MK5 F1?

Been helping a mate on a station in Cape York keep his old MK5 going as a cattle truck, it is about the only machine that will access the remote parts of his property.

I managed to download the User Handbook which is a big help as most of the decals etc have worn away so we had to use trial and error to figure out what levers did what.

I will endeavor to get what we have online tomorrow.

Thanks for your help Phoenix, I got the old truck running 2 years ago for them to use as a cattle truck on the station. The grass and bush's had grown up through the truck so it was a big job. Each year that I go up I fix a little more of it, last year I did the brakes so they did not have to use tress to pull up, this year fitted some gauges for water temp, volts, oil PSI etc. I also figured out how to get 6 wheel drive and the winch working but I am not sure the drop box is 100%.

She's a good solid old rig and her glory days are not over yet :).

Also found a complete trailer and a few spares in the dead machine park up area that would be good to rebuild as spares and get going.

If you haven't caught up with the details on Ch. No2126, its ARN was 171758 and engine No. was 6-283 05420 and it was an F1
