Hi Geoff
Thanks mate. I was unsure of the forum legalities of posting the seller and I have no affiliation with him. Details are:-
Ronnels Hobbies
0429 077 800
I called him on Tuesday and book arrived today along with (2) other copies of other books he has on Defenders in service, British based. These series of books are originally produced for model makers doing scratchbuilt models.

I found mine through

Yet to arrive. Hope I haven't thrown the money away for a 110 Survey image that I already have. Survey images in service are just about nil... If you got one Ill pay for it.
BTW thanks for tuning in a Heads Up Paul.

Hi Philthy
Mine took a few days. Wait Out and I'll attach the Survey pics I'll take with my phone..

No No all good!
Wasn’t really expecting a shot of one pulling 4 x #5’s up the side of Mt Kosciusko full of sextants and scientific equipment? After all it’s a reference book for model makers. To their credit they can be very exacting in what they do. BTW the Survey was never fitted new with supports on the bonnet as the windscreen was fixed. Was interesting to note the lack of auscam changes. Thanks and welcome. Have a blast with your Perentie.
-
Yeah agreed, It would have been great to have the books split into 4x4 ad 6x6 with more pics of both. Thanks I'm sure we will mate

I don't think so >:(

Any ideas on the last digit on the ARN of the RFSV??
Who good with the super zoom
-
Good luck!
-
it's from 0 thru 9 maybe one here?
-
It's not 51-671 (same configuration) as the camo does not match up.
-
51-652. Different on door (sort of) and bumper. But could be a later touch up over the black... its not a 51-67X but it sort of shows the cam is a very rough guide without clues like different coloured mirrors.
-
In the case of 51-671, the black paint to the drivers air vent is much wider than that on the Tankograd RFSV photo.
As I have learnt from studying the paint patterns on LRPVs, every Perentie has it's own unique camouflage signature.

Heres hoping its this one. Would love to have an in service pic

Is that 51-670 boxy?
The photo is not 670 if it is. You will note that the RSFV in the photo has a small golf ball size dent to the very top front LHS guard. All we need to do is find this Landy :)

There is also a sizeable dent in the trim panel under the front of the passenger side door.
