Assuming my Perentie has the same wiring as all other Land Rovers in the Air Force, I now have an adapter to plug in my 7 pin plug on my trailer.
Haven't tried it yet as the trailer is too hard to get to due to other projects!!!!
-
Move the other projects out of the way.Connect your WKSP trailer to the Perentie and bring them both to Melrose at easter. :) ;).
-
I'm working on it!
-
How far is Melrose from Nth NSW?
-
Define north NSW?
according to google maps its about 390km from broken hill and just off of the main trucking route west, hope that helps.
-
For you people further north ie brisvagas way, approx 2000km from some of the countries best scenery......The Flinders Ranges.(if you take the short cuts).
-
Did the flinders a few years back very nice indeed.
-
Such a good idea that I am building this too.
Its such as good idea; no digging around into the rear loom of the Perentie.

I made one of these 18 months back, to fit my Survey HT and tandem trailer. It worked a treat ... until I plugged it into a mate's GS that had the wiring inverted. How that was never detected / fixed, is beyond me.
Another mate recons that Repco sell these, though I haven't verified that.
-
I would be very surprised if repco even knew what a nato plug was, let alone stocked one.....

I think the "mate" is probably confusing the range of commercial connector adaptors with our less than usual requirement/need to use existing NATO fittings on the vehicles.
