Wheres a good place to get replacement wiring from, other than the uk.
I need to make some runs up, ideally would like the wire that's got the protective coating on.
Also do we have access to a proper electrical wiring diagram with correct colure codes for a workshop, and or gs/ ffr lighting.

Vinwire have the army 109 harnesses in their catalogue, not cheap though although correct colour codes with black out wiring. 1961 MILITARY SERIES 11A 109 INCH W/BASE PETROL LR611 $404 ex-tax $445 inc tax http://www.vinwire.com.au/jl_list.htm (http://www.vinwire.com.au/jl_list.htm)
If yours is a different configuration, like it has wide headlamps or alternator they will make them specials or add the design to their catalogue. They only need the old harness and the diagramme (which they may already have)

Hi juddy
I have one of them harness's from vinwire still in the wrapper if you want to have a look at it, but now in Perth so wont be home for a couple of weeks
I spoke to the guy in person up at a swap meet thing about a year ago, he is very accommodating and I'm sure if you tell him what you need he can help. Hence I bought the harness after the chat we had

I bought a vinwire harness too. The mechanic that rebuilt Castrol also did the rewiring and he was VERY impressed with both the quality and the price and the fact that they supply a list of what wire is what ;D
I thought the cost of it was very reasonable too :D You do need to order in advance though coz they make them as ordered and do not usually hold stock
