Title: S2A diff oil drain plug

What tool do people use on this drain plug?
Has anyone got a pic of it?

If you can find a open ended spanner that will fit in the slot neatly, then close an adjustable spanner (shifter) on the open ended spanner, turn the 'shifter' and the plug will unscrew, that will get you out of trouble. But what I use is a short length of flat bar, ground down and radius to suit the shape of the plug, then use a shifter on the steel flats, plugs always come out easy, cheers Dennis :)

I use a Sidchrome cold chisel with a shifter, the cold chisel fits in the slot perfectly.

Well in my opinion, they would be as handy as a plough upstairs LOL, surely anyone of you could make one of these in less than 5 minutes, material 1" x 1/4" flat bar or 25 x 6mm flat bar, using your nouse place steel against rotating grinding wheel move in arc and presto it's done, here is one that I have

I actually ended up using hot rovers idea and got them done in no time.

 I also have a similar special tool as DennisM it is 0001-ARGH! and also use 1x 10 inch Shifter,(Commondore tool)  ::)

I like your description there Dennis. I have one of those rotating grinding things on the bench and never had anything to use it for, going to shed now to make one of those tools.
