I recently made up some boat racks for my trailer. Pretty simple job. Does require you to cut holes in the top edge of the tub for the rack to slip into and drilling holes in the vertical channels to secure them. Also had to take tarp to local canvas shop to get them to modify it to it around poles then had to add extra eyelets on front and back corners so the rope would work.

The motor clamps on the front bar with an extra piece welded on for stability.

Great job!

G'day mate.
Nice job!
A much better and more stable option than the racks we had on the RFSVs. A bugger to load and a bugger to drive with.
Looks specco.

Hey there Dennis,
Did you ever have any luck finding the pictures? I'm pretty sure I want to copy the great idea!! Haha

I was trying to workout how to attach similar racks on my trailer then I saw your solution.
So simple and neat. I am making up a set the same before you patent the idea.
Thanks
